Say what you will about “Weird Al” Yankovic, but don’t ever say he’s lost his touch at keeping musical parody both hilarious and entertaining, because with the help of the College Humor website, he’s about to release a new album called “Mandatory Fun” featuring his one of a kind take on the hit song “Royals” by Lorde.

The new parody single from “Mandatory Fun” titled “Foil” delves into the frustrating and often organic world of taking left overs home from dining out; championing the benefits and virtues of wrapping your scraps in foil over plastic containers on a mock infomercial.  However, in true “Weird Al” style, the entire song takes a conspiratorial twist complete with tinfoil hats, moon landing conspiracies and government mind reading machines.

Stop reading about how awesome it is, and see for yourself in the video below, and leave a comment with your thoughts.

And in case you have been living under a rock, under a couch, under another rock, here is the original version of “Royals” by Lorde.
